I am passionate about helping people heal their pain, deepen their relationships, and discover their true selves, so they can be free to live their most authentic, peaceful, fulfilled life!

I am a Psychoanalyst, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. I serve the areas of Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Agoura, and surrounding communities.

I have been practicing since 1993 providing treatment for individuals, couples, teens and families. I specialize in eating disorder treatment to help people recover from food and body image issues. My work also focuses on healing early childhood trauma, improving relationships with others as well as the self, and navigating adoption issues. I'm interested in whole person and whole life wellness.

I thoroughly enjoy my work and feel honored to be a part of this very significant journey in people's lives. I believe the trust and safety of the therapeutic relationship allows for healing of very deep and personal pain and longing, and allows one to discover his or her most authentic self.

If you’re interested in knowing more specifics about my professional life, I’ll lay that out here. I’m licensed in California as a Marriage & Family Therapist, I hold my doctorate in Contemporary Psychoanalysis. I am a Training and Supervising Analyst, faculty, and past Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis.  I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist & Consultant (CEDS-C) and past President of the Central Coast chapter of IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals).  In addition to providing psychotherapy, I also teach and supervise others who are therapists.

Sometimes getting started with therapy is the most courageous thing you can do. I would welcome your call if you’d like to talk about how I can help. Just click the “Get Started Now” button below to get in touch.
